This sweet and spicy cilantro sauce gets a Mediterranean spin with a little nuttiness from the addition of tahini. Drizzle over fish tacos or roast chicken or even make some ahead to keep in the fridge for salads.”
Ingredients
- 1 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and coarsely chopped
- 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Directions
- 1Combine cilantro, jalapeño, mayonnaise, lime juice, oil, tahini, honey, garlic and salt in a blender. Process until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed. Thin with 1 to 2 tablespoons water, if desired. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 day.
